I have look in the internet for a long time and this setup is one of the best I have ever seen, a job well done.

What kind on wind resistance is present in a 31' by 26" panel afixed atop of a 66"pole? In sailing conditions of 25 knts with rouge seas it would seem that the stresses and buffeting this unit would take would be significant.

Wind resistance is a worthy concern. Our experience with a panel larger that the one you mention is that wind resistance is not a major issue. The panel is usually tilted so the wind does not strike the the panel with the force it would have if the panel were vertical and perpendicular to the wind.
