CMPower LiFePO4 batteries are designed to last 2,000-4,000 charging cycles if properly cared for. Thus, if a battery has 50-100 cycles, it is at the beginning of its life. We have created this page so battery owners who no longer need their batteries because they are selling their boat or moving to a different boat can sell their used LiFePO4 batteries. This can be a win-win for the battery owner and the buyer. Marine Sport Series LiFePO4 Refurbished Batteries
Some of our Marine Sport Series marine batteries were in need of a firmware update. This update involved drilling a hole in the top of the battery, connecting a probe to the circuit board, updating the firmware and sealing the hole. These are brand new batteries with only one test charge cycle. The CMP battery warranty applies to these batteries. A unique feature of these batteries is a buzzer alarm that sounds when the battery is at 20% and 15% State of Charge. The alarm can be turned on or off with a button on top of the battery.
